Deleted All My Songs

Assalamualaikum and hi,

In the movie Begin Again, one of the actor said, a person's playlist says a lot about that person.

Just now I bumped into a good song. Thinking how to put it into my playlist.

The thing is, my playlist is full of random songs. There's no personality.

I want one. At least.

Gently, I deleted all my songs. Burning all the bridges to listen back my old songs.

By the way, that good song I just mentioned is Youth by Daughter. Fell in love with the emotion in the song.

There is one, at least.

Bye.

Where To Go After This?

Assalamualaikum and hi,

Attended ACCA PER Talk today. Basically, about what you need to do after completing ACCA.

I have to work for 3 long years. Yes, I hate it so much.

Now I'm wondering whether to work for what I want to learn or to just work for that "ACCA" tittle.

After completing the Practical Experience (PER) you can put "ACCA" at the end of your name.

I like working. But, working for 3 years just for the tittle made me rethink the purpose of having a job.

Plus, my final goal is not to be in the corporate world.

But, I have worries. If you don't have that tittle, how to define yourself. Like, what's your worth?

You have a dream, but also fear.

In song Remember The Name by Fort Minor, it's not about the salary, it's all about reality and making some noise.

Bye.

Why I Think Raya Will Always (And Forever) Be Awe-Inspiring

Assalamualaikum and hi,

For those who didn't know, Raya is a festive that is celebrated by Muslims. I am not sure about other country, but, in Malaysia, Raya is celebrated with cheerful songs and lots of good food. Simply, just imagine when you talk about Raya, we will get excited.

Sorry for posting about this when it is 10th of Raya. But, better late than never.

Now, as a grown-up, I read a lot of people been tweeting about Raya being boring, lame, sucks. I am here to prove them wrong.

Why, you might ask.

When you read the word "Raya", what is the first thing you imagined? The food? The money that you received? Or even  explosive

Mostly, people are expecting fun is there when Raya comes. Actually, no. It is still that way for kids, maybe. But not for us, adult.

It is where we took the chance to apologize. To celebrate our hard work fasting for a month. To have the chance showing that you are really sorry deep inside (we rarely show it, right?).

For me, I would make myself feeling grateful, of having the chance to eat in daylight. After so many days restraining to eat or drink, I really appreciate eating in daylight (Thank you God!)

For me, I am delighted to see all the good food on the table, and we can share them with our big or small family.

For me, I enjoy, watching the kids play together. I am still wondering, why I lose the ability to play like them when I grow up.

For me, I am grateful with all the money given. I even felt guilty of receiving money, because as adults, we know it is hard to find.

How about you?

University students complained, they needed more money than the kids in school.

One thing, if you, a university students need more money, how about elder people that gives you the money, didn't they also need it ?

What ever amount you received, be grateful.

So, take some time, figure out what you really want for yourself. It is really important to know if you are just being selfish.

Listen to those Raya's songs. It is a good way to boost your mood during Raya (please find songs during the 80's and 90's, personal suggestion)

Just simply, celebrate.

Bye.
