A Celebration for an Achievement

Assalamualaikum and hi,

I'm sorry. I know. I should've updated this blog. But tiredness hit me so hard. But, sorry won't change anything. Here's an entry in the morning to replace yesterday.

I need you to remember all the events that have occurred in your life. Now I need you to recognizes the event. Is there any event that celebrates you? If there is, I need you to remember all the achievements in your life that hasn't been celebrated yet.

Why did I told you to do this? It's to make you feel grateful. At least you have an event for yourself even if just once.

I know, we all demanding our achievements in life to be celebrated. But everybody got their own lives. Their own problem to solve. It sounded ego-ish to have an event for every achievement of yours. What about them? Have ever remembered them? Think again.

Look at your table. You see food every single day. Have you ever thank to God for that? Not ever missed out a DAY.

You see, if you're creative enough, you can make your own celebration. Go out with friends, buy things and enjoy a video game. Or just simply, make every meal time as a celebration.

Now go to your toilet. Have the water ever been stopped? (Not because there is a problem, obviously) Have you ever go out without having a shower? The water, where does it come from?

I don't know. Just be grateful.

If you are a good observer, you will see many things in life is a gift from God. But it needs your parents to channel it. Because we are used to those things, it turn us into an idiot that forgot the meaning of appreciation.

But maybe, just maybe, if you wait long enough, there are may be a celebration for you. You just have to wait patiently.

If there is an achievements in your life that hasn't been celebrated yet, remember to just be grateful. That is more than enough. More.
